An Open Approach to Windows

Don't be fooled; not all PVCu windows are the same. And neither are all windows installers. At Yeoman, we listen to what you want and work with you to achieve the best results. When advice is needed we'll provide it. More importantly, when it comes to fitting we go for quality; high standard Kendrick and Paddock locks, internally glazed 28mm profiles, security hinges and K glass. Plus we offer the full range of wood finishes.

Choosing the Right Windows

The range of windows to choose from includes traditional casement windows (side or top opening), fixed (non-opening) windows as well as Vertical Sliders (imagine a sash window that slides and then opens inwards) plus an array of tilt and turn options where windows tilt back for ventilation and then turn to open. Here are some of the elements to consider:

Beading – this is the surround that holds your glass in place; there are plenty of attractive options available

Glazing – choose internal glazing (glazing installed from inside) as it is more secure because there is no external beading that can be prised open.

Glass - toughened glass is designed to break safely if smashed and is often used for doors

Woodgrain - rosewood, cherry or light oak finishes are all now available - plus there's the flexibility of having either wood or white finishes for the interior.

Patterned Glass - Elizabethan Leaded, Georgian Leaded, Georgian Bars, Jacobean, Queen Caroline - these are just some of the options you can choose for your glazing. These lead patterns add a distinctive touch to your windows. There are also bevelled glass designs - in either clear crystal or colours.
